I swear the scale can be so confusing sometimes. I’m 5’3 and I’ve been trying to lose weight, but my numbers don’t seem to tell the whole story. My weight is going down slowly, but my body fat percentage barely changes.
The confusing part is my clothes fit better and I feel like I’m making progress, but the measurements don’t always match what I see.
I’m wondering if I’m focusing too much on weight and not enough on body composition, especially since I want to lose fat and keep muscle.
I’ve been thinking about getting a DEXA Scan to understand what’s really changing.
For anyone who has done one or tracked body fat during weight loss, did it help you see progress differently? What do you use besides the scale to track your journey?
