This is the first time I’m really trying to lose weight (25M). I have a semi active job (work in a kitchen) walk around 2 miles to work and back, and work out 3-5 times a week. I generally eat 1.8k-2k a day, and am 5’7 210lbs. It being Mother’s Day I ate around 3k calories. I’m starting to get down on myself bc after the big meal I weighed myself and the scale had gone up (1.5lbs) to 211.6 (I was 210 when I weighed myself last Sunday) I’m assuming that is bc I usually weigh myself when my stomach is fairly empty and I had just eaten a cheeseburger and fries. My question is how much realistically has this set me back and do I need to eat even less than my normal 1.8-2k calories everyday this week? Or did I just really screw up my progress?
