I’m a 5’5” male and this morning the scale said 152lbs, yesterday was 151.6, the day before was 151.4, etc
I weigh in the morning after using the bathroom and before eating or drinking anything.
This week so far I am averaging 1571 calories
The week before was 1743
The week before was 1736
I usually run twice a week and strength train four days a week but am otherwise mostly sedentary
I get on average 125g protein, 160g carbs and have three meals and one snack (a protein coffee and chicken) a day. I drink alcohol at the weekends but manage my calories during the week to allow for this and always track my alcohol on My Fitness Pal.
I am hungry a lot of the time, and am currently finding this very hard to sustain especially with the idea that I will likely have to eat even fewer calories than I currently do. I have had a mild cold this week so have been unable to work out or run which is adding to my weight gain.
On Feb 15th I was 157lbs and was proud to see I was losing weight but now the scale is consistently going up.
Am I going to see a drop at any point or am I being delusional? I am avoiding seeing friends as often as I’d like and am not giving into temptations to eat or drink anything that would push my calories up and yet it feels like I’m still failing.
This is all taking up a lot of mental space and I am hyper focused on what I’m consuming. I am getting increasingly stressed and frustrated.
I would like to be 140lbs or under.
