general advice questions!

I want to use the best app for calorie intake but I’m not sure which one and I also don’t want it to be like preaching weight loss necessarily more just healthy eating… I just want to err on the side of caution since I’ve had disorders eating before.

Also, how do you get started losing weight? I guess I care more about how my weight is a reflection of worse eating habits since going to college so would appreciate any advice. Despite going on jogs twice a week for 30 min and usually more gym activity along with like 10-20k steps a day, I’ve gained ~20lbs at college and I think it’s a reflection of the vending machine in my dorm building along with a lot of free snacks everywhere.

i tend to drink coffee or matcha as a means of going out to lock in because i work better in coffee shops… but that adds to how much milk n sugar im consuming so not sure if anyone has been in the same situation and has suggestions.
