For those losing 100+lb ....how do you handle the homestretch (the last segment after losing a lot already) im stuck
I wasnt always fat/obese. I went through a tough time, ptsd, bul3m!a but then stopped the purge part and gained 150lb in a few years. But since aug 2022,
Vegan diet,
Took eating disorder specific counselling, many lifestyle changes in career and personal boundaries etc. Also had the support of glp1 tools; first saxenda(minimal outcomes) wegovy (helped me drop 40) recently changed to zepbound. I am loathe to say glp1 are "the trick". I worked hard; therapy, gym, walks, vegan diet, weighing measuring tracking calories etc.
Lost 89lb. Omg felt like a human again, life is so much better. But it made me complacent, i stopped losing weight and even gained back 18lb. I have another 40 to lose to get my excess skin removal surgery
So, i would love to hear from others, how did you manage the last homestretch after losing a lot? Im feeling so stuck but i still have a ways to go
Ill never give up. But its been 6 months stagnation and now even gained some back. I just want to be done and get my excess skin removed.
I have the means to do so. But i feel like i cant seem to get back on track. Any and all suggstions welcome.
This cant be it for me i refuse to accept
