F/31/5'7"" [192>162=30lbs] 9 months | found healthy candy options that actually work

The biggest lesson from this whole journey is that restriction doesn't work for me, moderation does. I tried cutting out sugar completely multiple times and always failed within a couple weeks. This time I kept everything I like just found lower calorie versions or smaller portions. Still eat pasta, still eat pizza, still have candy almost every night. The difference is I'm aware of how much I'm eating and I choose healthy candy options that fit my calories instead of eating a king size Snickers. I genuinely don't feel like I'm on a diet which I think is why I've stuck with it for 9 months when every other attempt lasted maybe 6 weeks max. Find what works for you instead of trying to be perfect.
