Anyone Not See Certain Improvements Till Close To The End?

Hi all, 25M. Last spring I had a wake up call at 305 lbs. Since, I’m down 55-60 pounds, currently around 245-250 lbs at 6’0. Before all of this, I was very healthy at 205. Since I was a fairly muscular build, 205 being slightly overweight was never a detriment to my health.

This brings me to my challenge: I struggle most with energy, some with a high appetite (though decently controlled with diet). But the energy piece is so disruptive, and ruins my mood. I’ve had things like skin sensitivity, body aches and general weight bearing improve, but these honestly didn’t disrupt quality of life too badly. It’s a bit discouraging to be down as much weight as I am and not see noticeable improvement to things that really affect quality of life. It makes me wonder what another 40-45 lbs will do for me if the first 55-69 didn’t do much in this regard. Did anyone else only ever see a lot of change to certain things towards the end, when they were closer to their healthy weight? I plan to lose it anyway, but wanted to see if anyone had personal anecdotes that might be encouraging on this front
