Hi! I've started my journey in the beginning of December. It's a little bit tough for me as I used to suffer from eating disorders, anorexic episodes, purging etc. so that means I can't weigh my food and counting calories or weighing myself is triggering (I am in therapy and I'm mostly healed but I'm super careful not to roll back to my eating disorders). I did calculate the calories and TDEE etc when I first started so I can be sure that I'm eating in a deficit. I used multiple TDEE calculators, my TDEE is 2700, the food I consume in a day is ~1700. I cycle indoors for 30 minutes 5 days a week and do a 20 minute resistance bands workout 3 times a week. Other than that my lifestyle is sedentary. I have seen differences in clothes, my belly got jiggly almost the first month which I read is good. I am now 113 kg 159cm, I don't know how much I was when I started. I might have lost 4 kg in total the first 40 days. I will weigh myself again next week at a doctor's appointment which I will be on my period again so I'm sure the results will be skewed.
I feel like I'm not making enough progress? I know you can't tell me if I am, but am I doing anything wrong? I am also recovering from deconditioning, low ferritin(now 70), getting off a sedative pill (nozinan/levomepromazine ) so I'm assuming my body is taking it's time to heal?
I have never been this heavy and every time I've tried to lose weight in the past it was to go from 62 to 50kg (hint: eating disorders) so this is different. I thought I'd shed fast I guess?
