Hi lose it fam.
I’ve been doing solid sticking to my calorie deficit since January 5th (sw: 251.7, cw: 246.2); really trying to focus on being disciplined when motivation is nowhere to be found.
But today I got a healthy dose of “oh shit I really need to lock in and accomplish this”, because this was the closest I have ever been to doing the walk of shame at an amusement park.
I had no issues all day long, other than some snug seats, and on the very last ride of the day I was shocked to find the belt was pretty short and I couldn’t get it to click. The ride attendant came over and asked if he could help and that was embarrassing, then he couldn’t get it to click and that was more embarrassing. I was ready to abandon ship because people were staring and I’m sure my face was flushed. The ride attendant says “I’m sorry mam, we need it to click.” Oof I realized it would be a hassle to get across the other seat at this point, so I tried one more time and put an embarrassing amount of muscle into it and got it to click.
Jeez, never want to relive a moment like that again.
Fellow fluffy coaster lovers, if you need another reason to fight the good fight, this is a good one.
PS. The ride was great fun, but it was definitely tainted by me feeling like a very tubby inconvenience. I was honestly grateful that the ride attendant really wanted to help and didn’t just give me the boot.
