New years goal is to follow a program made by legit coaches

I’m a M28 and have been training for 2 years with my own bro splits and tiktok stuff but I haven’t really made gains this year. I think I need to follow a real program made by legit natural bodybuilding coaches instead of influencers. Coaching is pretty expensive at $150 to 200 a month for anything legit which is rough especially after holiday giftings that cleaned me out.

I’ve been looking at programs from Eric Helms, Alberto Nunez, and GVSon Boostcamp, all of those guys have free programs on Boostcamp. Obviously a template program is not personalized like me making my own program, but Alberto’s program has different variations for shoulder focus, torso focus, arm focus, leg etc, so it seems to be worth a shot to follow for 12 weeks for the new year.

For those who’ve followed template programs vs winging your own program, did you find that you made better progress past the beginner stage? I’m trying to figure out if I should just follow a free program first or actually save up for some coaching for my level.
