If my starting lifting weight is low, will I have to get it really high to achieve an ideal body?

I'm currently lifting 10-20lbs on the machines in the gym as I just started a couple days ago with no prior experience to working out.

I'm F 5'3, 130lbs and looking to body recomp, but I'm a little worried if my start is lifting super light will I have to lift heavy, like 100+ to see results (abs/toned body)?

I see people online lifting 100+ and still working on getting abs/toned body, will I have to lift that much or more as well or is it just dependant on where I started?
