Within the last 8 years I've learned how to lift weights and have gone from having almost zero muscle (like, I physically couldn't sit upright in a chair) to being able to deadift 60kg, bench 27.5kg, overhead 20kg, bicep curl 20kg, squat 20kg, single row 10kg.
I'm reasonably pleased with these physical results. I know they're not super impressive. But I think my form is great and I don't have any injuries to report!
I'd been able to lose enough fat that the top of my belly had abs and I could fit into a size 10 (nz).
But I've since regained all the weight I'd lost. I look better, obviously, because I have muscle under the fat... But I'm still super sad about it cause I can't fit any of my clothes atm.
My issue is chocolatey, sweet snacks... I can eat an inhuman amount.
I don't count calories because of mental fatigue.
I have considered counting macros and micros because I see the health benefits of this from a mental health pov AND physical benefit too... Wondering if this would help.
I need to lose about 8kg or so.
