So my question is how quickly do men put on muscle compared to fat loss.
I’ve been going to the gym and eating much healthier for the last 4 months but I am not losing any weight despite being a calorie deficit and walking over 8-10 miles a day.
So I have been getting frustrated at being stuck at 99kg. I’m not fat at all and I’ve always known I’m heavier than I look but I’m beginning to wonder if I’m putting on muscle at the same time as me losing fat. I can see visual differences in my body but not on the scales.
I lift 5x per week and tend to go until failure most sets.
Very curious about this?
Edit: I did lose an initial 7kg over the first 6 weeks.
