Does anyone have a weight loss goal of 40ish pounds or more and want to keep in touch to keep each other on track? I feel like maybe connecting with people who are in the same boat might be the way to go. I have my partner & supportive family & friends but I feel like they don’t fully understand how hard it is to lose weight. I’ve started and stopped many times due to binge eating, and I feel like I’ve finally conquered my BED and am eating healthy. Now I just have to stick to it. I’m in remission & keeping on top of nutritionist & therapy appointments, but I keep fluctuating in weight due to the holidays and people’s birthdays and being surrounded by food. It’s a particularly triggering time for me.
At my heaviest, I was 188.8. At my lowest, I was 158 (30 pound loss). Now due to the holidays and events I’ve gone back up to 168 & gained 10 back. I really want to keep going with the weight loss journey until I eventually reach around 128. I’m 5’5 and fairly structurally petite, so I need to be around like 130-140 at least in order to be out of the woods for prediabetes and overall healthier.
Anyone want to do it with me? ☺️We can exchange infos, keep each other on track with small check ins like once a week or something, maybe either over text or video, and cheer each other on. I’ve been moving towards a more active lifestyle and want to keep up with the accountability. Consistency is what I struggle with!
