Struggling to lose weight for health.

Hey everyone,

I could really use a bit of advice. My doctors have told me I need to lose weight for my health, but honestly, I’m finding it so hard. I have lots of disabilities with my feet, plus epilepsy, so exercise is really tricky for me pretty much off the table apart from maybe a bit using my Peloton on really good days. But that’s rare.

So it really comes down to diet and that’s where I’m struggling most. Every morning I wake up thinking “Right, today’s the day, I’m going to stick to eating well” but by the evening I just give up and tell myself “I’ll try again tomorrow.” It feels like I’m stuck in this constant cycle of trying and failing, and I just can’t seem to break out of it.

Food is a massive comfort for me, especially at night I tend to binge a bit while watching TV, even if I’ve tried to be “good” all day. I’m starting to feel really defeated, but I know I need to sort this out for my health.

If anyone could help I’d honestly be so grateful. It feels overwhelming right now, but I want to change and don’t really know where to start.

Thanks so much if you’ve read this far
