Why is this happening?

Hello. To give a bit of context, I'm a person who's lost +30kg since september of last year. From june to september I hit some kind of plateau where I didn't lose anymore weight, and when october came, I got back on track and started losing weight again. Since then I lost 4kg more, but there are moments like this past weekend where my girlfriend cooked me a lot of meals and I ete a considerable amount of food, then I got on the scale and gained back like 2kgs. I know I didn't eat that much to gain more than 2kgs back, and I don't know if it's water retention since I weighed myself yesterday and today and the numbers were very similar. What could this mean? Is my metabolism slowing down?
