For reference 20M 5'11 175 lbs, 2650 cal maintenance. I did an aggressive cut the past 6 weeks with about a 1000-1200 calorie deficit and today was the first day off. I still want to get leaner however but I know I cant stay in that large of a deficit without effecting my muscle mass. That being said, my deficit is now going to be as If i was doing a normal cut (about 500 cal deficit). I just want to know if say I ate an unhealthy meal but still ate within my calorie deficit and hit protein (about 180g), would I still be on track losing weight.
