Finding it difficult to loose weight even though I don’t eat a whole lot

I mean I’d like to say that my metabolism is pretty fucked up as I’d go from eating consistently to barely eating two meals a day or eat nothing until the last hour of daylight I get so much food from being hungry but too lazy to do anything about it (really bad habit I’ve had) I’m pretty overweight for my age and height and it’s kinda been an issue all my life. I don’t think being in a calorie deficit will help me lose weight as it’s already causing damage and I swear I’m not doing it on purpose I just sometimes find it a hassle to eat three times a day plus I get full so fast and don’t want to eat anymore.

What else should I do? Should i increase my calorie intake? Eat more protein? Exercise more? Weight lifting? Also very unfortunate but what is also getting in the way of me losing weight is my sleep schedule because I get off of work pretty late and don’t fall asleep until 4 am in the morning..so I’ve adjusted to that schedule which probably isn’t the best but I’m not quitting my job just to stay in shape I guess but please any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated 😭
