So in the span of a 2 years I’ve managed to lose around 20kg of weight. At times I got back into old habits so therefore it took a longer time. As of recent (1.5 months) I’ve been walking more and eating less and have lost around 6 kg (which is a part of the 20kg). As of this week I’ve started going to the gym consistently each day and have also increased my protein intake by taking protein shakes. However my calories are around 1800kcal. I’m currently hanging around 101kg, and noticed that as soon as I started working out that my weight loss has been put on hold. I’ve in fact gained weight as my lowest has been 100.6 while right now im 101.6. My calories haven’t changed, I track everything and walk around 7-10k steps a day. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but I doubt that it’s all that. I also drink around 1.5-2l of water a day. What is happening?
