Seeing no change despite sticking to gym and calories. What am I missing?

Hello! I’m a 27 year old guy, 165 cm tall (about 5'4"), and yeah… I’ve got quite a bit of weight to lose. Lately, I’ve been really trying to turn things around. I’ve been hitting the gym five days a week, Monday through Friday, doing about 30–40 minutes of strength training and then walking for around an hour afterward. By the end of the day, I usually hit somewhere between 10k and 12k steps.
Weekends are my rest days, though I still try to eat decently. Sometimes there’s a little “extra,” like a dinner out or a snack I didn’t plan, but I try not to go overboard. I’m eating around 2000 calories a day and tracking everything with Cronometer.

Now here’s where I’m struggling: I feel like I’ve hit a wall. When I first started, I noticed a big difference. My body felt lighter, less bloated, and my clothes fit better. But lately the scale’s been stuck. For about a month now, my weight’s been bouncing around the same numbers. I still train the same, still keep my deficit, but it’s just not moving.
And I know, I know, weight isn’t everything. But lately, I don’t feel like making progress. When I look in the mirror, I look the same.
The only real progress I can point to is at the gym. I’ve been able to lift heavier, which is great! But physically, I don’t see much happening right now.

I weigh myself almost every day, unless I’m traveling or too busy for work. My numbers jump up and down a lot, and I get that it’s probably water weight or normal fluctuations, but overall, week to week, it’s been flat. So I’m wondering… is this just part of the process? Am I missing something? Or do I just need to stick with it and wait for the scale to finally catch up again?
