It has never been this hard to lose before

I have had a “fast metabolism” my whole life. I could eat anything, be inactive and remain near my goal weight. Into my 30s, I had to be more deliberate. Cleaning up my diet a bit (like… less fast food or something) and working out would always do the trick.

Now, I am at a weight and that number will NOT BUDGE. I have reduced my calories, working out, even fasting and my weight fluctuates around losing 5 pounds, gaining it back. Back and forth.

My god. It has never in my entire life been this difficult to lose weight.

I would just love to hear from someone who experienced this and how they got over it. Maybe it’s a change in hormones or something?
