I have reached my current weight through the years and I've tried many times to lose it, but I got caught in the yoyo effect trap every time. So now, after giving up for some time, I decided to try again, but I'm trying to do it in a more organized way. I have to lose 90 pounds to get to a healthy weight, and I have already lost 10 with diet and cardio in a month and a half. I don't count my calories but I'm thinking of starting to, just to be more mindful of what I eat (even though I'm a bit scared it will develop in a ED, since I already have a weird relationship with food... Any advice on this?).
My main concern though is to avoid the skinny fat, if I manage to be consistent enough to lose all the 90 lbs. I've read that you need to lift weights to avoid excess skin, is it true? Is cardio not enough? I do 1 hour of cyclette almost every day, and I burn 470 kcal each session. I don't really like lifting weights, and knowing myself I am almost certain that if I don't like an activity, the chances that I'll keep it up are very slim. So maybe would pilates be ok? Like, move with Nicole workouts?
What do you guys think?
