Hi all, I began this at the end of June at 130 kg (20 stone), 3 months later I’m down to 19 stone 3 and 122 kg. But I have loads of questions. I’m 5’7” (small boy) and want to get to 100 kg by next September. Which feels ok. Food isn’t the issue, weirdly I don’t really mind not eating a lot of food Ik shock.
My question is with plateaus, I lost a hit chunk in the first few weeks (ik water and glycogen, positives of living with a biology major hahaha), but when I lose now I plateau. I plateaued at 19 stone 5 for weeks nearly months, then suddenly now stuck at 19 3. I have cut calories to 1800 and seen those two pounds move in three weeks but scale jumps scare me. How do you all keep believing when plateaus mess it all up.
Also with jumps, I know I’ve lost weight, nearly 2 pant sizes down, but I’m hitting the gym and have gained muscle, my question here is how do you cope with the scale when it jumps. For example this morning I weighed again at 19 5, despite being 19 3 yesterday. I know this is mostly due to water and having bit of carbs yesterday but it still gets me down. How do you cope with those things?
Thanks so much and hopefully in a year I can come here and say for the first time since I was 15 I’ll be sub 100 kg.
