So I recently lost 25lb and for the past month I can't lose any more. I weigh 205lb and 5'10ft tall and as of this past week I decided to go into a calorie deficit and try to do macros as well. I eat 1,300cal to 1,400cals a day, but recently I have been seeing that it may be bad to eat that much? But then some people say it's good. So it's a bit confusing, and people also have mentioned "TDEE" and when I calculated it on this website it said my maintenance was 2,480 which I find that hard to believe because I don't think I eat that much calories especially since I'm starting to track what I eat. And to lose "2 pounds per week" they said to subtract 600, but that's leaves me with 1,880 which still seems like a lot and I feel like I won't lose any weight doing that.
So if anyone can please explain or tell me how much I should be eating that would be great, because I am truly turned around with this.
Also I do cardio for 1-2 hours 3 times a week and weights once a week.
I also eat try to eat healthy and normally only order out like once a month if even that. And I try to stay away from fried food and TV dinners.
My daily protein is around 60-90g a day depending on what I cook
I hope all of this info helps, please ask questions if you need more, all I would like to know is what should be my calorie deficit if I'm just trying to lose 45-50 pounds and maybe 1-2 pounds a week.
