50 pounds down, mixed feelings and emotions.

I am not really that open with my weight loss journey with my circles "in real life" and wanted to share here!

50lbs down since March, half way done with my weight loss journey. Still obese per my BMI though. Where I live, we use kilograms. Well, for the first time since I was a teenager, I weigh less than 100kg. This is a huge personal win for me.

It's mixed emotions. Happy that I've made this progress, looking forward to reaching my GW and living my life. Interspersed with sadness that I wasted my 20s being fat. It's limited my successes, life experiences and so on. Had I known it was this straightforward (CICO), and that all I needed was motivation; I would have done it years ago. So that's the regretful part. Can anyone relate to this sentiment?

I'll never have the "beach body" I am so envious of others for either. I'll probably have loose skin, and I'm worried what impact that might have on future relationships I choose to pursue as well. Ahh, well it's better than being obese.

Really jumbled thoughts here but I just needed to put them out there. Have a great rest of your week <3
