I'm looking for a supportive Community, so this is going to be an introduction and rundown of my Journey so far :) I'd Love to get to know some Folks on Here!
Currently I'm 26 years old, 5'10" and weigh in at 124 kg. My highest weight so far was 156 kg, my lowest being 49 kg. So yeah, theres definitely been a Journey! Anorexia, Bulimia and Binge eating are well known to me.
Due to growing up in very bad abuse I developed CPTSD and a load of follow up mental issues; we often didn't have food, wouldn't even think of nutritious food. So when we Got to eat, I overate ALOT. At 17 i moved out on my own and Developed Anorexia.
2019 I was inpatient for being underweight and had Just graduated from high school. In clinic I got pregnant (no Plans, no period, Bad choices) and had a wonderful daughter who is about to turn 5 this Summer!
Her father was very abusive and I went from those 49 kg to healthy 60 kg, to around 150 kg in no time. At First I was afraid of having a miscarriage since I knew I Had been abusing my own body intensively for years. So I stopped purging and tried to eat enough to sustain my Baby. Then old coping mechanisms Set in. The Rest is weight History.
Two years ago we finally went into a DV shelter, sustained a legal Battle, and Made a good Life for ourselves. I've been in Trauma Therapy for 3 years now, which helped alot in getting me to leave with my daughter and beaing the mother i want to be. I only have little PTSD Symptoms left and lost 30 kg in the First year without trying.
Last year, Out of the blue, I met an amazing man who is the best Dad to my daughter, loves and supports me with all his heart. I'm in University now, studying Biochemistry, and fully content in Life.
So, this is where i'm at right now. I have finally been able to start a calorie deficit without triggering ED behaviour. My therapist has been super helpful in this endeavor. I have also been into weight Training and Spinning classes for the past year. I Go to the Gym at least twice a week. Finally my Wish is to be healthy and strong for me and my Family, not to dissapear.
For two months i've been Tracking calories and macros. Currently I'm working myself towards eating 1700 kcal a day. I naturally get in 10.000 steps daily, at the very least. I'm finally Loving movement again and also okay with my Body at most times.
