Starting weight 380, current weight 360, goal for the moment is 300 until I move the finish line again.
Hey everyone, just hit 20 pounds down and feeling good about where it's going. Still got a ways to go. I talked to my doctor about my weight loss at around 10 pounds lost and he was thrilled. He wants me in for 6 month physicals instead of a yearly to do blood work and what not. I was doing 2100 calories a day but he told me to do 1800 instead. That's been going fine, just very hungry. Additionally he wants me to eat around 130g of protein. I've been trying but honestly am finding it very difficult.
My question is for all of you protein junkies how you squeeze in so much protein? Literally any amount of rice or bread feels like it takes away all of my calories. Do you literally just eat straight protein without any "fillers"? Should I ditch the rice in my chicken rice and veggie bowls and just double the veggies and add another chicken breast?
