Hey guys, looking for some advice as I’ve stalled for the past week or so. I know this isn’t a long time and that plateaus can last for weeks, but I’ve been steadily decreasing in weight for the past 6 months, and over the past week I have hovered at around 1-2kg heavier than my lowest weigh-in, despite being in a significant calorie deficit the whole time. I know this isn’t 1-2kg in fat, I know it will be water retention from a little higher salt and more exercise this week etc. I totally get that, but I still find it hard not to spiral and become self-punishing when I see the scale not moving/going up despite me doing what I know works.
Again, I know this is a temporary feeling and situation and the scale will drop again, I just want any advice or tips on how to stay calm about it and not spiral out and become obsessive or overly restrictive in an attempt to fix it!
Thanks :)
