SW: 400+ lbs CW: 222 lbs
Lots of ups and downs in this journey. Started back in 2019. Made a bunch of progress before I started teaching elementary music back in 2022 (I’d gotten all the way down to 210 lbs) and then the shake up to my routine caused me to gain back quite a bit of weight.
But I don’t freakin’ give up, damn it. Ever.
Just exercise and calorie restriction. I run like hell and I lift weights. It wasn’t until a few months ago that I started listening to David Goggins, and that really lit a fire under me. If you know, you know lol.
My diet is mostly me just trying to stay at around 2400 calories a day while trying to hit a specific amount of protein. That’s been the approach for a while, and I’m glad I never completely fell off of it.
