Hi everyone!! 32 female - SW 326 - CW 277 - GW 226
I started losing weight in March through a calorie deficit and walking, and managed to lose almost 50lbs. I can now see a physical difference in my body and thought it was about time I gave this gym malarkey a go for the remaining 50lbs.
I am an absolute novice at anything fitness related, but understood the general gist is to strength train 3 times a week and up my protein intake, which I have done, alongside my usual walking.
I started this almost 4 weeks ago and my weight has stayed exactly the same. I haven’t changed anything else, just started lifting weights. I still track my calories, drink lots of water, do the same amount of cardio etc. I have kept a careful eye on my calorie intake since losing weight to make sure I am always in a deficit. So why has my weight loss suddenly stopped once I have started exercising MORE?
Hoping you guys can help as I am new to the gym world and not always clued up on all the terminology. Thank you!
