How to change the mindset?

I was doing a good job being consistent at the gym and eating good, ended up losing about 16lbs during 2-3 months of exercise/diet and then I suddenly stopped exercising and started eating even more than I used to.

I have always struggled with binge eating but I guess restricting myself for a bit made me go all crazy. I had 2 pints of ice cream in one sitting the other day. Then the day after I had a few big meals (including 2 chipotle bowls), 4 cookies, ice cream, milkshake and some extra dessert. And all my meals have been like this for the past 3-4 weeks

Like, how do I stop that again? I already regained a lot of the fat I lost, I look different than I did two weeks ago and it’s not as easy as just “try to control yourself” for me. If I’m craving a food and don’t get it I can’t get anything else done during my day because I will be thinking about it. Gosh, when I was restricting myself I was even dreaming about the food I was craving.

So I’m just looking for some advice on how deal with this. I’m a broken college student so anything that involves money (like a nutritionist) wouldn’t be an option. I went to the gym today after a month and I couldn’t get myself to do anything. I don’t wanna be eating over 2000 cal every day from milkshakes/ice cream but it’s so hard to stop. I still tracked my calories these past week and I was averaging 5000 cal a day with no exercise. Idk what to do anymore, sorry for ranting.
