I just started eating very mindfully in a deficit about two weeks ago. In about 3-4 days, my period will start. I'm PMSing really hard, so it has taken enormous effort to stick to my diet (but managed somehow!)... So I'm a bit upset to see that my weight has gone up:/ Is it possible that this is the period weight gain already, or does that only appear when you actually get your period?
PS: I'm on birth control as well, in case that's relevant. I also have insulin resistance, so I'm slowly transferring towards a diet suitable for that.
