So I've been trying to get back into exercising after a long hiatus, with my elliptical trainer - I did use it religiously for about 6 months back in 2022 but fell off the wagon - but this time I've bought a smartwatch to try and track my workout history.

The heart rate monitor is accurate to the dot (I counted it manually and it tallied with what the smartwatch said) but I've been wondering: is the accompanying burned calorie count accurate as well?
What do you guys think?
