I recently bought a huge pack of premier protein café latte shakes at costco. I’m wondering whether or not these are good tools to get my protein intake. 30g of protein for 130cal sounds far too good to be true. I know in a deficit, calories are calories, but as far as benefits go, if i’m adding that to my morning coffee, is it helping me reach my weight loss/fitness goals? I have to get up at around 6 am for my job and typically find myself grabbing a to-go yogurt in the morning because i’m lacking time. I’d like to get some more protein in, since i don’t really get a lunch break (and end up eating “lunch” at 4:30pm). Are these shakes a good addition or am i better off simply grabbing a bit of turkey for breakfast instead?
Important to note: i’m not going for crazy gains, just trying to hit a relatively high daily protein intake for weight loss and building slight lean muscle
