hello, this is my first time posting on reddit but i just wanted to tell someone about my weight loss so far because im very proud of myself!!!
i’m 18F and 5’8. 3 months ago i was around 170-174lbs and had tried being more active and eating healthier multiple times in the past but always failed. around 1 month ago i weighed myself and i was 183lbs and was shocked to see that i gained 10lbs in such a little amount of time without even realizing it, and it also scared me into finally doing something about it.
ive started a calorie deficit and now eating around 1200-1400 calories a day and i feel great. its harder for me to eat completely healthy because i have really strong cravings so my main goal was just to reduce my calorie intake while still eating my favorite foods (…ramen lol). and ive replaced my snacking foods like chips with fruits and have started choosing water/sparkling water over soda.
anywho, this morning i weighed myself and i was 172.8lbs!!!!! this is the first time in my life where ive actually stuck to losing weight and i feel so motivated, getting started was truly the hardest part. im going to keep going with the deficit and hopefully reach my goal weight of 140lbs!!!
