im fourteen and very short (150cm) and i weigh around 51kg. i understand this is a healthy weight but i think its also very close to being overweight. i just wanted to really know how to loose fat, i have a small frame so i feel it makes me look chubbier than normal.
i was a gymnast until last year and during my gym years i did a lot of training (including weights and everything) and was eating healthy (now that i think about it i was def undereating) yet i still wasnt losing fat, and now that i dont do much exercise i feel like i wont ever lose fat. for reference i was doing around 20hrs a week.
i dont really have control over what i eat as my mum cooks for me but i have told her about my goals and how i want to eat healthier. the thing is i already eat heaps of fruits and vegetables, as i just straight up like them. maybe i can eat more protein? also, i did look at calorie deficits but with my height apparently to keep my weight i need to eat 1200 cals, and a calorie deficit would require around 200-500cals less (so i heard) and i understand thats not healthy for a teenager so im really stuck.
should i just exercise more? im scared that wont do anything compared to last year. i dont have easy access to a gym either but if i really try i may be able to.
i also maybe thought its my metabolism, any tips on how to speed it up or however it works? any help is appreciated, thanks!
