How much weight fluctuation do you experience / is normal?

I feel like every year since 18 (I’m now 22), I’ll come out of winter 10 pounds heavier and go into winter 10 pounds lighter (145lb - 155lb at 5’5). My body is constantly changing and it’s driving me craaaaaaazy.

I’m conscious about weight loss year-round because even at my lowest weight I’ll still think of it as my start point. The only difference is during winter, I’m more lax about my food choices since my body is so easily covered up. I think another factor to it is that I’m in college, so going into fall semester is always so so different compared to coming out of spring semester (moving back home, seasonal depression, just general sense of newness/burnout, etc.).

Now that I’m graduating, I’m wondering if this cycle is likely to break or if I’m doomed to it. I also weightlift very consistently, and I’ve noticed that recently, I‘ve been dreading going to the gym because I feel like I don’t look the part. Lifting has also changed my body comp in subtle ways over the past few years, which really doesn’t help my handle on what my body looks and feels like LOL
