Cheat days

Do you think it’s possible to make progress and take the weekends off? I’ve stuck to 1500 calories all week because I’ve been working but now it’s the weekend and I’m thinking what I want to do and it all involves trying new restaurants or going for drinks and I don’t really want to go to a nice restaurant and eat the asparagus with a glass of water. I really love baking but don’t want to make cake and other things that will take me off track and healthy baking sounds very unappealing. I could go to a gallery or a show but then I’ll want to stop for lunch and everything that looks delicious will be high calorie. If I see friends we’ll definitely go for dinner and have drinks. So I feel stuck at home because everything fun is unhealthy.

For context I’m 5 ft 11 and I’m like 290 lbs so really need to sort my weight out. I’m quite fit like I walk 15’000 steps a day, swim a few times a week, up and down the stairs all day so it’s definitely the food that’s the issue but since I’ve been changing my diet I’ve been a bit miserable and like all I think about is food.
