I am a 18 year old male and I weigh just under 170lbs and around 5’9. I am trying to loose some fat while trying also to gain on some muscle for the first time ever and I am afraid I might not be eating enough calories to add more muscle. My BMR should be around 1700 and I try to keep my calorie intake to around 1250 calories a day with around 100g of protein a day. Should I increase how much im eating or as long as I am getting my protein I am good? I am just nervous as this is my first time really dieting and trying hard to loose weight as I used to be 200 but lost most of that weight by stop drinking soda and staying away from and cutting super sugary stuff out of my diet.
