Under calculating avocados

Pre- Weight Loss JOURNEY TM, I was always good at eating veggies, it was snacks and portion sizes I struggled with. I absolutely plowed through avocados, Lidl does em dirt cheap about 6-8 months out of the year, and they make me very happy.

I start counting with My Net Diary and it tells me avos are about 350kcal each. I immediately halve the avo in my meals and cut out other meals completely. I always knew it was high in fat but didn't know it was adding to my intake so much. Tbh I save a bit of money too, we're in the months where Lidl doesn't do my multi pack and I've been forking out.

Cut to breakfast and packed lunch making this morning. I'm debating adding a full one to my couscous but settle on half for breakfast half for lunch. Finally weigh what has been a pretty average size for avos I get in...it's 80g. I calculate. These American standard avos must be massive because mine comes out to half the calories I had been inputting. Avo deprivation for naught!!!!!!!

I'll be buying a stash tonight xxx
