im 21F 170 lbs looking to get to 150. ive already got my calorie deficit down and pretty confident in 1600-1800 cals on weekdays 2000 on weekends. im not trying to rapidly lose or anything. but im so confused on all the differing information about what my protein intake should be, i go to gym/workout 4 times a week for like 30-40mins so im not like a super crazy gym nut but i do like having muscle. and do both cardio and weighlifting. i have a decent amount of muscle which im looking to keep and continue growing, but my body fat is getting out of hand.
my main question is how much protein do i eat if i want to keep my muscle, while simultaneously losing fat? ive been eating my goal weight in grams so 150g protein which isnt hard for me, but im seeing sources saying this is perfect and sources saying this is way too much.
ill appreciate any advice on what i can do differently or better. thanks
