I [31f] just started getting serious about my health and fitness. I joined a gym about a week ago and have started taking HIIT classes twice a week. I also take walks in my neighborhood when I have time.
The gym I go to has an app which I use to track my meals (calories and macros). Although I am trying to choose healthier meals with appropriate portion sizes, I don’t necessarily restrict myself on what I can and can’t have. But I will say that tracking my calories and macros has made me way more mindful about what I’m eating and how much I’m eating.
Before tracking I’m sure I was eating probably 2,500-3,000 calories on a regular basis. Now, I hardly hit 2,000. I’m eating 3 meals a day and maybe 1-2 healthy snacks, but when I go to bed, I’m so hungry!! I feel like I’m eating good portion sizes, so why am I always so hungry? Is this normal?
