Hi y’all, I am currently 27F I am 5’5 and 176 lbs. I am told I have a great body but I can’t help but feel like my confidence would be better if I trimmed up a little bit. I have lots of muscle built up in my legs and so I’m confused on my actual body fat percentage but I’d like to lose about 20 lbs.
I’m thinking of starting by walking and getting my steps to 10,000 and eating higher protein. I think this is a good starting plan (to keep my muscles and drop fat) but my biggest struggles when trying to lose weight is motivational issues. I’ve rinsed and repeated the same process a million times. I hyperfixate on my weight loss goals and I do decent for one week and then I seem to forget about it after a little bit until 3 months later where I remember that I should probably try to lose weight again. Does anyone have helpful tips to keep the motivation going? Why do I keep forgetting about it? Was there a moment where it all kinda fell into place for you?
