Last time I posted on here, everyone was so kind and helpful, so here we go again 🩷
I've been trying to lose weight since ~July 2022, but I lost most of that first chunk due to health issues/unsustainable habits and didn't get fully serious about healthy weight loss until mid January this year (52 days ago according to the app). At first it was going super great, but now I've hit a dreaded plateau and I'm struggling with it mentally.
I guess I just need some words of encouragement/stories of how you pushed past these lulls, since my husband and bestie are the only ones that seem to GET it, and I feel bad always stressing to them (mostly my poor husband, what a support hes been though 🥰)
Journey/situational stats: F28 SW July 2022: 249lbs. SW Jan 2024: ~208lbs. CW 195lbs (went up 1.5lbs since last week 💔) GW 160lbs hopefully early June 🤞 working out 50min 5 days a week, mostly cardio on the elliptical thanks to old injurys and large.....assets. App has my calorie allotment at ~1650 but I generally only feel the need to eat 1300-1400 not subtracting working out calories. It felt like a lot of water weight hung around last week but not so much this week, even though I didn't decrease 😢
