I've been figuring out this weight loss thing for some time now. I had a stomach repair surgery in Sept 2021, I went from 255lb to 200lb presurgery as I was told the excess weight on my body caused the tear. Post surgery I went from 200 to 159 and then had an accident that forced me to get a knee replacement in Nov 2023, a week after hitting that 159.
Post knee surgery I got up to 174lbs due to being bed bound. Today I am 165lbs and back to working out and counting calories regularly - trying to finally get to my goal of 155lbs ( a "normal" bmi weight for my height).
I am still sitting at a 40inch waist so there is definitely work to be done beyond just the 10lbs/scale goal. Today as I walked by the Easter candy display for a 3rd year in a row knowing it doesn't fit in my calorie goal AGAIN - I feel frustrated and defeated. I'm so close to having lost 100lbs and honestly I am over it. I feel like I have the senorities of weight loss. I just want some damn Reeses peanut butter eggs and Girls Scout cookies.
