I’m male, 26 years old, weigh 110.5kg. I’m sedentary as I’m mostly housebound due to my weight causing me a lot of pain and bad sleep. According to calorie calculations online my maintenance calories are about 2500 calories per day. Unfortunately despite being under this most days, I am not losing weight. It’s very frustrating and I’m confused how this is even possible. I log EVERYTHING I eat, weighing everything too. It shouldn’t be possible to not lose weight.
Last week (14/1/24 to 21/1/24) 2200+3350+1750+1700+1700+2000+2800
Here I lost only 0.5kg, despite having all those days at supposedly 800 calories deficit!
This week (21/1/24 to 28/1/24) 2200+1750+2150+2350+2150+2450+3300
Technically most days I was in a deficit with only Saturday being bad. Yet I gained 0.2kg instead. What.The.Fuck.
What’s even more frustrating is I had similar amounts of calories last month and I lost 2kg (before I put it on again after Christmas). Yet now it’s suddenly a big issue.
