Alright, we’re pretty much two weeks into the new year. And it’s Saturday. A perfect day to give up any New Year resolutions or new habits.
As someone who has yo-yo’d plenty of times, this is the third time in the last 10-15 years I’m back on the new year wagon. And it’s the same every time.
Two weeks of eating well, drinking lots of water, and getting lots of steps in.
Stepped on the scale last week and I was 3lbs up. Stepping on the scale this morning and I’m back to Jan 1st weight. Incredibly frustrating. But it’s very consistent each time I go through this.
It’s water weight. It’s muscle forming. It’s my body going WTF after a very indulgent Christmas.
If you’re seeing the same, give it another two weeks. You’ve done two already.
