Today I woke up at 12pm & at 3pm I had my first meal of the day; A 600 calorie BBQ chicken Bahn Mi
I was very hungry, (my last meal had been 13hrs prior) so I ate it all within 10 minutes. By 5pm I became extremely tired & went to bed. I woke up at midnight.
I usually have this Bahn Mi once a week as a "You made it to the weekend" treat. 20% of the time it makes me tired enough to have a nap , but 80% of the time I'm energized and full for the entire day.
I thought Bahn Mi was fairly healthy? 51g of protein, lots of veggies.
Is it the bread that is making me tired? I usually have a lot of bread in my diet & don't fall asleep, but its all whole wheat.
Is it the chicken? I had 500g of chicken last Sunday and also needed a nap.
