To put it shortly, I've accomplished my goal (SW: 365lbs CW: 165) over the course of two years using keto, CICO and steadily increasing workout. This began with just walking for 30 minutes, then I jogged some of that same distance. Today, I do intense weightlifting x3 a week and then go jogging for 30 minutes x2.5 a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and a half-session on Friday alongside weightlifting).
The weightlifting I do is two arm days and a leg day, the former of which takes about 2 hours (specifically at the gym doing work) and the latter taking about an hour and a half. Both are intense enough to leave me exhausted and get me sweating and feeling like my body's warm for the rest of the day.
Does this count towards activity level? I've been counting myself as being active 2-3 days per week, but I'm not sure that's accurate?
