I am a Male 6’ tall and currently weigh 220 LBs
My goal weight is 185 Lbs
Started to get into shape at 240lbs
I’m worried I am not eating enough. A regular day for me consists of roughly 1500-1800 calories. I’m not hungry after eating this much any given day. Everywhere I am reading says this should easily put me in a deficit because of my size however, I’m not losing any weight at all. I have been able to consistently maintain this weight for a month eating this amount of calories. After adding up what I eat I was actually blown away it was so few calories and worried this may be hurting me. I find it hard to eat more than this in a day though. I feel like my calorie intake is normal for my body as I’m not soul crushingly hungry and I’m not ever stuffing my face. But I’m worried that I may not be losing weight because my body thinks it’s starving? I can’t imagine that I’ll actually have to eat less calories than I already do. Looking for advice. Decided to add high intensity cardio 5 days a week to see if I start shedding more in hopes my metabolism will boost again. Idk I’m just at a loss. Been working really hard at this and getting discouraged.
